Hahahaha that is how I felt when I first got my Miata and found out that I could fit it in gaps that were inaccessible in my old car. It felt like a victory over southern california traffic in the dickhead war of the 405. . .

i'll take the 405 war over the 5 any day. Fuck the 5 in LA. The narrow pothole ridden lanes are hell

Yup but going through Irvine, I ALWAYS take the 5. I'll drive across Irvine to avoid sitting on the 405 for an hour. But I do agree that I'd rather be in the 405 hell that starts in Irvine and doesn't end than stuck on the 5 in LA.

Ah yes in Irvine the five is better. I was thinking LA. Because driving the five in LA has scarred me. I hate it.

BTW Siri is the one that spelled out five, and I'm too lazy to fix it.

I've driven the 5 through LA so much that it doesn't really bother me when there isn't traffic, but holy balls it can be scary when traffic is moving at a decent clip and people can't stay in their lane.
